Clarity IS Live! Known Issues, Post Migration Tasks and FAQ!
Effective 3/4/2024, HMIS End Users may login into Clarity HMIS Live Site!

Note: Use the "forgot password" link to reset your password and access the site! User credentials will be the same as provided for the training site. If you need assistance with login, email the helpdesk!
Data Migration Known Issues
- Income/ Annual Assessment Script has NOT been applied to migrated data. Bitfocus is working to create this script and we will have it applied to the site as soon as possible.
- This will result in income data appearing incorrectly in client records and on some reports.
- Please do not attempt to correct any income records for reporting purposes until we have the updated script applied.
- Migrated data is currently tagged with "AdminAdmin" as the user name attached to the data in Clarity. An additional script is forthcoming to update these records for current Clarity users who were also in Bell Data.
- In some cases, duplicate income records were imported and have inflated income. These reports will be sent to each agency for review (duplicate or inaccurate incomes should be removed).
- Agencies will have projects listed as "Active" in Clarity until the custom migration is completed. Please be mindful not to choose program enrollments for inactive and closed projects. The names of these projects will include {Closed}
Post Migration Tasks
- Review your client data in Clarity. Please submit tickets immediately if you find data issues. Note: Potential issues identified as DQ issues in the Bell Data files that were not corrected in Bell Data prior to the migration may present in data set. Please review the final DQ files for expected issues.
- Enter data from the blackout period into Clarity!
- For NbN shelters using the attendance modules, please ensure that clients have an Enrollment into the project before attempting to add their shelter night stays. For details on attendance, check out our KB Article: https://slocounty.helpscoutdocs.com/article/43-attendance-module
- Review client contact information. If contact information is current, update to active and mark as shared with appropriate release of information.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Question: Are there unique changes to user access at Go-Live?
Answer: Beginning at Go-Live, all users will be without delete rights of any entered data. After the HMIS team confirms migrated data has successfully moved to the new system, users will have full access to previously entered data. Users will be notified directly when their access changes.
Question: Can I access Clarity if I haven't completed my training?
Answer: No; only users who have completed and passed their user training in TalentLMS will have access to Clarity. Any user who completes their training prior to March 4, will have access at Go-Live.
Question: Will there be more training available?
Answer: Yes, additional training modules will be added to TalentLMS in the coming weeks. Users will automatically be enrolled into training modules. Users will have 30 days to complete any additional trainings added.
